When the Hourglass is lifted from its base and flipped over, the top light will turn on
immediately and last for one hour. During this time, the bottom light is charged on the
charger base

If more light is needed after an hour has passed, flip again. If less than an hour’s worth of light is needed, a sensor in the base will turn the lamp off by touch.
